Contracts signed for four projects under IPA II CBC Montenegro – Albania

Four joint projects of institutions and organizations from Montenegro and Albania, approved for funding under the Fourth Call of the IPA II Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Albania 2014-2020, started their implementation in early 2025.

The contracted projects are implemented under Thematic Priority 3 – Promoting employment, labour mobility and social and cultural inclusion across the border. Three of the projects have a Montenegrin institution as the lead partner, while one project is led by an Albanian counterpart.

Caritas of the Archdiocese of Bar, as the lead partner, is implementing a project entitled “P.O.W.E.R – People with Disabilities: New Opportunities for Work, Employability and Professional Rehabilitation.” The project is implemented in cooperation with the Association of Paraplegics Bar, Caritas Albania and the Foundation for Down Syndrome Albania. The total project value is €452,485.88.

The Union of Employers of Montenegro, also as the lead partner, is implementing the project “Accessible Maritime Tourism” in collaboration with the National Chamber of Crafts of Albania. The project is worth €390,300.00.

The Municipality of Ulcinj is the lead partner in the project “Development of Women’s Microenterprises in the Cross-Border Area,” implemented in collaboration with the Monitoring Group Ulcinj – Mogul and the NGO Consulting and Development Partners from Albania. The project amounts to €483,930.25.

The NGO World Vision Albania is carrying out a project named “Promoting Dignified Employment for Youth and Unemployed Individuals in the Cross-Border Area of Montenegro and Albania” in collaboration with the Employment Agency of Montenegro and the National Employment and Skills Agency of Albania. The project is worth €512,810.08.
