WeBalkans Photo Contest

Organized by the WeBalkans platform, the regional Photo Contest was officially launched on April 24 for young people aged 18 to 29 from the Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia).

This rewarding photo competition invites youth from across the Western Balkans to tell their visual stories through the lens of sports, capturing moments that reflect inclusion, respect, and unity—core values of sport and essential European principles. Whether it’s a dusty village field or a vibrant street match, the goal of the contest, as the organizers state, is to show how sport brings us all together.

The contest will remain open until May 24. A regional expert jury will select 18 winning photographs, which will be showcased in a traveling exhibition across six regional cities. The photo journey will conclude with online voting on the webalkans.eu website and social media, where the public will choose the top three photographs. The winners will receive a trip to a European Union capital.
