An information day dedicated to the URBACT IV Programme Call for Good Practice Transfer Networks was held in Podgorica, organized by the Ministry of European Affairs. The event attracted significant interest from local self-governments looking to make use of the opportunities provided by the call
During the event, participants were given a detailed overview of the call’s rules, the steps required to prepare project proposals, and practical tips for finding project partners across Europe.
By participating in these networks, Montenegrin municipalities will have the opportunity to collaborate with other European cities and municipalities to adapt and re-implement proven good practices from cities awarded the URBACT Good Practice Label. Furthermore, through this reuse process, local governments will be able to further enhance these practices by leveraging the experiences gained in partner cities
The call is open until June 30, 2025, and the maximum budget per network is €750,000, including co-financing. Full information is available at urbact.eu/get-involved.
Following the info day, the Ministry of European Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, organized a special meeting aimed at strengthening the financial management capacities of Montenegrin partners already involved in URBACT projects. During the meeting, partners had the opportunity to exchange experiences and receive further guidance on implementing project activities.
