At the European Week of Regions and Cities (EURegionsWeek 2025), the largest annual event dedicated to regional and local cooperation in the European Union, the Ministry of European Affairs presented the strategic project “Empowering and Simplifying Processes for a Digital and Well-Governed South Adriatic – SA GOVERNANCE.”
The GOVERNANCE project was showcased at the External Cooperation stand in Brussels, where from 13 to 15 October numerous representatives of institutions, partnerships, and initiatives from across Europe gathered. The event provided a unique opportunity for exchanging ideas, experiences, and best practices in the field of digital transformation and improving good governance.

The project is being implemented in partnership with institutions from Italy, Albania, and Montenegro, with the support of the Interreg IPA South Adriatic program.
Together with partners from the Apulia and Molise regions, SASPAC from Albania, and the Ministry of Finance, the GOVERNANCE project demonstrated how cross-border cooperation contributes to the modernization of public administration and brings services closer to citizens through the development of digital tools, strengthening administrative capacities, and improving institutional cooperation.
