Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević will visit Rožaje on Wednesday, 22 October, for a working visit.
The visit is part of the EU4ME project – “Support for Communicating the European Integration Process,” and the program includes a meeting between Minister Gorčević and the Mayor of Rožaje, Rahman Husović, along with his team, as well as a visit to the Rožaje Mixed High School, which successfully implemented the “Craftsmen” project under the Serbia – Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014–2020.
Additionally, during the visit, a panel debate titled “European Day in Rožaje” will be organized at the Rožaje Cultural Centre, with participation from Minister Gorčević, Mayor Husović, and students from the Rožaje Gymnasium.
The panel debate will take place at the Rožaje Cultural Centre from 13:30 to 14:30. After the panel debate, the Minister and the Mayor will give statements to the media at 14:35.
Media representatives are invited to cover the school visit, the panel debate, and to record statements from the Minister and the Mayor.
During the visit, at 16:00, Minister Gorčević will also visit the NGO “Ikre Rožaje,” where she will discuss the organization’s projects and activities, as well as the importance of its work for the local community. The Minister will also support the breast cancer awareness campaign implemented by the NGO.
