The Ministry of European Affairs, with the support of the European Union Delegation to Montenegro through the EU4ME project, in cooperation with the Municipality of Tuzi and the “Mehmed Fatih” Madrasa, is organizing a Europe Day celebration in Tuzi on Monday, May 18, 2026.
At 11:00 a.m., a visit is planned to the “Lučka Olive” farm, which specializes in olive cultivation and the production of extra virgin olive oil, where the potential of local production and the development of sustainable agriculture will be presented.

The cultural program marking Europe Day will begin at 12:15 p.m. at the “Mehmed Fatih” Madrasa in Donji Milješ. The opening remarks will be delivered by Lindon Gjelaj, President of the Municipality of Tuzi; Prof. Rahman Kačar, Assistant Reis for Religious Affairs and Education; Maida Gorčević, Minister of European Affairs; Maraš Dukaj, Minister of Public Administration of Montenegro; Majda Adžović, Minister of Public Works; and Peter Felten, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Montenegro.
Starting at 12:30 p.m., students of the “Mehmed Fatih” Madrasa will perform the cultural program “Bridges, Not Walls,” which, through music, stage performance, and messages from young people, promotes dialogue, understanding, and connection among people and communities.
