The Ministry of European Affairs, with the support of the European Union Delegation to Montenegro through the EU4ME project, in cooperation with the Royal Capital Cetinje, is organizing the celebration of Europe Day in Cetinje on Thursday, May 14, 2026.
The cultural program marking Europe Day will open at 12:30 p.m. in the multimedia hall of the Ministry of Culture and Media. The opening remarks will be delivered by: Nikola Đurašković, Mayor of the Royal Capital Cetinje, Maida Gorčević, Minister of European Affairs, Tamara Vujović, Minister of Culture and Media, Novica Vuković, Minister of Finance, Stefan Dimitrov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to Montenegro, and Irena Vuković, professor at the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary School of Fine Arts.
At 1 p.m., the cultural program “When Letters and Voices Come Together” will be performed, prepared by students of the “Petar Lubarda” Secondary School of Fine Arts, the Gymnasium, and the Secondary Music School, under the mentorship of professor Irena Vuković. Through music, literature, and stage performance, the program brings together art, youth, and European values, featuring performances by students from Cetinje schools.
At 3 p.m., a visit to the Cetinje Sports Centre is planned, where EU projects implemented in the Royal Capital will be presented, while media statements are scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
