Orban: Hungary fully supports Montenegro

Hungary fully supports Montenegro on its path towards the EU and NATO, said Hungarian PM Viktor Orban in the meeting with Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs and EU Integration Igor Luksic.

Head of Montenegrin diplomacy is paying a visit to Hungary.

“There is no doubt that Hungary stands behind Montenegro on its path towards NATO and the EU. For Hungary it is an essentially important process and perspective”, said Orban.

Luksic also met with Parliament Speaker Laszlo Kover, who said that the relations between the two countries were good, including parliamentary cooperation.

He said that there was space for improvement through initiatives of Montenegrin-Hungarian friendship group in the national parliaments.

Kover remarked that Montenegro’s results on the path towards NATO and the EU were examples to other Western Balkans countries.
