Progress in field of rule of law necessary

Montenegro can count on Germany’s support in the field of EU and NATO integration, and in that process visible results and progress in the field of rule of law are necessary, said German Ambassador Gudrun Elisabeth Steinacker.

She met Wednesday with Minister Marija Vucinovic, and according to the press release, they agreed that Montenegro made progress in the field of reforms.

The meeting accessed that Montenegro, in order to improve the tempo in integration, must invest additional efforts with the goal of implementation of the laws.

According to Vucinovic, the Croatian ethnic community wants to offer full contribution to current processes of European and NATO integration and supports full membership of Montenegro in NATO.

She introduced Steinacker with the work of the Council for Development of NGOs and with the challenges which this body faces.
