Today, the First Call for submission of project proposals under the IPA III Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Montenegro – Albania 2021-2027 has been published.
The deadline for submission of project summaries is October 31, 2025.
The call is open to authorities at all levels and institutions with competencies in environmental protection, tourism and cultural and natural heritage, local self-governments and their institutions, development organizations/agencies, organizations (including CSOs) for nature protection and climate change, public bodies responsible for fire/flood/emergency protection services, educational institutions of all levels, institutes for education and vocational training centers, tourism organizations at national and local level, chambers of commerce, chambers of crafts and business associations, clusters, cooperatives, farmers’ associations, institutions for nature/environment protection, institutions in the field of cultural heritage, CSOs active in relevant areas, educational institutions (schools and higher education institutions), companies and other organizations involved in education, licensed providers of youth and adult education, institutes for education, as well as youth organizations.
Within this call, projects of up to EUR 600,000 will be supported that aim at environmental protection and promotion of climate change adaptation and mitigation, risk prevention and management, as well as projects up to EUR 750,000 intended for the improvement of tourism and cultural and natural heritage.
The project duration is limited to 30 months, while the total budget of this call amounts to EUR 7.4 million.
The programme area in Montenegro covers the municipalities of: Andrijevica, Bar, Berane, Budva, Cetinje, Danilovgrad, Gusinje, Kolašin, Petnjica, Plav, Podgorica, Rožaje, Tuzi, Ulcinj and Zeta. In Albania, the programme area covers: Shkodra, Malësi e Madhe, Vau i Dejës, Puka, Fushë Arrëz, Lezha, Kurbin, Mirdita and Tropoja.
