Info session on simplified procedures within the Interreg Euro-MED program

After the opening of the Sixth Call for project proposals, the Interreg Euro-Mediterranean Program 2021–2027 has opened the possibility for projects testing the Second Call to move to the phase of transferring achieved results.

The opportunity to transition projects from the testing phase to the transfer phase represents a chance for projects to experience the complete project cycle by going through all three phases: study, testing, and the result transfer phase. For an easier transition between the testing phase and transfer, the Interreg Euro-MED Program invited Second Call projects to take this step through a modification request. Projects that meet the criteria of quality implementation of activities in terms of administrative management, finances, and that have not requested a project duration extension were invited.

During this transition, the possibility of including new partners, to whom the achieved results could be transferred, was also opened.

An informational session on Fast Lane ‘Test-to-Transfer’ procedures will be held online on 28 January 2026. Registration is here.

Information about the Interreg Euro-MED program and ongoing projects can be found here.

The territory of the Interreg Euro-MED program covers EU member states: Bulgaria, France, Greece, Croatia, Italy, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain, and EU candidate countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

The program aims to make the Mediterranean region smarter and greener and improve governance among its stakeholders.
