The Ministry of European Affairs invites representatives of civil society to a presentation and consultations on the Draft Programme for Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union 2026–2027, which will be held on Tuesday, 20 January 2026, starting at 11:00 a.m. at the European House (Argentina Square, Podgorica).
Bearing in mind that the Programme for Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union (PPCG) is the overarching strategic document of Montenegro’s European integration process, which defines the scope and dynamics of reforms necessary for aligning Montenegro with the acquis communautaire of the European Union, the aim of the event is to present the document and provide an opportunity for all relevant actors to point out potential improvements, all with the purpose of achieving an adequate pace in attaining Montenegro’s readiness for EU membership.
The State Secretary at the Ministry of European Affairs, Biljana Papović, and the Acting Director General of the Directorate for Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union and the EU acquis, Denis Vukotić, will present the Draft Programme for Montenegro’s Accession to the European Union 2026–2027 and answer questions from interested representatives of civil society.
