Invitation to create a Network for the transfer of innovations as part of the URBACT IV 2021-2027 program has been published

The Ministry of European Affairs informs the interested public that the Joint Secretariat of the URBACT IV 2021-2027 program has published a Call for the Creation of Innovation Transfer Networks.

The call is open for submission of applications in the period from January 10 to March 20, 2024, and represents an opportunity for European cities to transfer and adapt to their local context an innovative project implemented within the framework of Urban Innovation Actions. The topics of these innovations are diverse and include the following:

  • Air quality
  • Integration of migrants and refugees
  • Circular economy
  • Skill-based jobs in the local economy
  • Climatic adaptations
  • Sustainable use of land  and based nature solutions
  • Culture and cultural heritage
  • Urban mobility
  • Demographic changes
  • Urban poverty
  • Digital transition
  • Urban security
  • Energy transition
  • Housing

It is planned to create 10 networks for the transmission of innovations, while the budget of one network can amount to a maximum of 550,000.00 euros. The number of partners is limited to 5 to 7, including the leading partner, i.e. one of the cities that implemented the project within the Urban Innovation Action.

The Ministry of European Affairs is organizing an Info Day on the subject of this call, which you can find out more about by emailing borka.ljeskovic@mep.gov.me

You can find details about the Call, as well as a tool for finding partners, on the website of the URBACT IV program.
