Since the beginning of the Erasmus + program, a large number of young people from Montenegro have studied at foreign universities, both through the Erasmus + program and joint master and doctoral programs, as well as through projects of international credit mobility. So far, over 755 people have used this program through international credit mobility projects.

“Erasmus is now a recognizable brand in the EU, but also at the world level. This program is not just studying and passing exams, but much more, it affects the personal and professional development of an individual, gives students the opportunity to learn about new cultures and traditions, “said the head of the national Erasmus + office, Vanja Drljević.

She pointed out that Montenegro represents a successful and good example of using Erasmus, with 227 mobility agreements with more than 20 EU countries, which is a very good result for the small system.

Deputy Head of Cooperation Office in the EU Delegation to Montenegro, Audrone Urbonaviciute, told students that investing in education, training and research is the best investment in the future of Europe. She reminded that in the period 2014-2020, Erasmus + will allow more than 4 million people to study, train, work or volunteer abroad, and this experience will improve their skills and provide employment prospects.
