Munich: PM Đukanović talks to Gunther Krichbaum of Bundestag

Montenegrin Prime Minister Milo Đukanović is taking part in the Munich Security Conference, which traditionally brings together senior officials from around the world to discuss strategic global and regional security issues.

The Prime Minister met earlier today with Gunther Krichbaum, President of the European Affairs Committee of the Bundestag, and informed him about the current political situation in Montenegro in the context of the ongoing parliamentary dialogue.

Mr Krichbaum welcomed the strategic directions of the foreign policy pursued by the Government of Montenegro, in particular its commitment to the EU and NATO integration.

This is an irreversible process, he said, and praised the Prime Minister’s personal contribution to Montenegro’s achievements. He voiced willingness of Germany and of the Committee on EU Affairs to further support Montenegro’s EU and NATO aspirations.
