National IPA program for 2014

The financial agreement was signed on December 10, 2015. The total amount of the allocation is 43.27 million euros, of which 39.52 million euros is the EU contribution and 3.75 million euros is national co-financing. The program includes 17 actions in 6 sectors, of which 6 actions are implemented by direct management and 11 actions by indirect management.

The program supports the following sectors:

  • Democracy and governance (6 actions with a total value of EUR 16.22 million, of which EUR 14.43 million is EU funded)
  • Rule of law and fundamental rights (2 actions with a total value of EUR 5.33 million, of which EUR 5 million is EU funded)
  • Environment and climate action (2 actions with a total value of EUR 3 million, of which EUR 2.83 million is EU funded)
  • Transport (2 actions with a total value of EUR 5.81 million, of which EUR 5.17 million is EU funded)
  • Competitiveness and innovation (3 actions with a total value of EUR 5.98 million, of which EUR 5.35 million is EU funded)
  • Agriculture and rural development (2 actions with a total value of 2.88 million euros)

In addition to the above, the action documents Civil Society Support Instrument and Regional Housing Program, with a total value of 3.75 million euros, which are financed from national IPA support, but programmed and implemented by the European Commission are within the Democracy and Governance sector.
