Polish experience important in integration processes

Integration process remains priority of Montenegrin foreign policy, and Polish experience in that field can significantly help Montenegro in the future phases of accession process, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and EU Integration Igor Luksic.

During the meeting with leaving Ambassador of Poland Gragina Sikorska, he said that the relations between the two countries significantly improved in the previous period.

“He reiterated the current moment in the accession process and expressed government’s commitment in fulfilling criteria for the membership in the EU and NATO”, the press release stated.

Sikorska stated that Poland was Montenegro’s friend and that it strongly supported its European and NATO path, expressing satisfaction with good bilateral relations, and promising Polish help on that path.

Sikorska remarked that Montenegro was a leader in the region and that it had good perspective in terms of integration processes.
