The Ministry of European Affairs has published the sixteenth issue of the magazine Eurokaz.
Within several sections, Eurokaz presents current developments from the negotiation process, the results of reforms that Montenegro is implementing in the accession process, and successful examples of the use of EU funds.
Contributors to Eurokaz include representatives of the Government of Montenegro, the EU, journalists from Montenegrin print and electronic media, as well as representatives of local self-governments, the business sector, and non-governmental organizations.
In this issue of Eurokaz you can find an editorial by the Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević, an article by the Director General of the Directorate for Public Investment Management and Public Procurement Policy in the Ministry of Finance Jelena Jovetić, an interview with the Ambassador of Denmark to Montenegro Pernille Daler Kardel, as well as a conversation with the Ambassador of the European Union to Montenegro, Johan Satler.
You can also read an article on the preparation of draft amendments to the laws, which will create conditions for the transposition of the Digital Services Act and the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) into the Montenegrin legal system during 2026.
In this issue, we also talk about the opportunities that the Erasmus+ program offers to pupils, students, teaching staff, and athletes.
In the sixteenth edition of Eurokaz we present cross-border cooperation projects, within which Technopolis enabled the Secondary Vocational School in Nikšić to modernize teaching in vocational subjects, and we also cover projects within the Interreg cooperation mechanism, through which the Port of Bar developed an environmentally sustainable business model.
The magazine also presents the three best journalistic stories submitted to the competition organized by the Ministry of European Affairs as part of the campaign “28 to 28”, with the support of the European Union, through the EU4ME project. These are: a story on the protection of intellectual property after the closing of Chapter 7, which discusses the protection of trademarks and copyrights in practice; a story on entrepreneurship and industrial policy in the context of Chapter 20, which discusses support for young creative people and their innovative ideas; and a story on the importance of closing Chapter 7 through a concrete example from practice – the trademark “Dobro iz Crne Gore” (“Good from Montenegro”).
The magazine is published every six months and is available on the websites and social networks of the Ministry of European Affairs and eu.me.
