Regional cooperation for more intensive progress

The Western Balkans, despite numerous challenges, made significant step forward in the process of European integration, and regional cooperation in the way to make that progress is more visible, said Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Igor Luksic.

In a lecture on the topic of European challenges in Europe and the region at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niksic he said that he expected that thorough cooperation with of that faculty with the Ministry would be established.

According to the press release from the Ministry, Lusic said that the EU seeks for its place in the world in which through integration process the countries of the Western Balkans were also positioning.

He reiterated the results that Montenegro and the countries of the region achieved.

Luksic also added that in the regional cooperation he saw the way to make that progress more visible, and emphasized that the joint work through numerous regional initiatives within priority fields, such as strengthening of infrastructure, improves mutual relations of the countries, strengthening stability and security in the region.
