Workshop on Project Proposal Preparation for the Serbia–Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027 Held in Sjenica

A workshop on the topic “Project Proposal Preparation within the Serbia–Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027” was held on June 11, 2024, in Sjenica. As part of the preparations for the upcoming call for project proposals, the workshop was organized by the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro, with the assistance of the Joint Technical Secretariat of the Programme.

The workshop was attended by over 40 representatives from national and local institutions and non-governmental organizations. During the training, participants were provided with a detailed presentation of the Cross-Border Cooperation Programme between the two countries, its goals, structure, and priorities, key aspects of the project cycle and project development, as well as practical advice on how to apply, prepare the logical framework matrix, and budget. All interested parties had the opportunity to get answers to their questions.

The workshop was also attended by representatives from the Ministry of European Integration of the Republic of Serbia, including Special Advisor to the Minister Tibor Pinter, Advisor to the Minister Mihajilo Dašić, and Head of the Department for Cross-Border Cooperation Programmes with EU Candidate Countries, Irena Komazec Cvetković.

The Serbia–Montenegro Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2021–2027 is financed by the European Union under the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III), aimed at strengthening socio-economic development in the cross-border area between Serbia and Montenegro.
