Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević will visit Danilovgrad on Friday, 30 January 2026, on a working visit.
The visit is part of the EU4ME project – “Support for Communicating the European Integration Process,” and the program includes a meeting of Minister of European Affairs Maida Gorčević with the Mayor of the Municipality, Aleksandar Grgurović, and his team, as well as a visit to the Art Colony, which successfully implemented the project “Discover Hidden Attractions,” within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Programme Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro.
Together with the Mayor, the Minister will visit the “Petar II Petrović Njegoš” Gymnasium and speak with students about the importance of Montenegro’s EU membership.
Considering the recent floods that particularly affected Danilovgrad among other municipalities, Minister Gorčević and Mayor Grgurović will visit the household of Đusta Jokišić in Bandići and discuss with the residents the remediation of the damage caused.
The media may follow the visit to the Art Colony, the Gymnasium, and the visit to the Jokišić household in Bandići, after which the Minister and the Mayor will give statements to the media.
A public statement will be issued after the visit.
