Best TV stories selected

Journalists of Public Broadcasting Service RTCG and Prva Television, Borislav Visnjic, Tatjana Debeljavic and Jelena Gardovic, are the winners of this year’s competition for the best television story about the Montenegro’s accession to the European Union.

The competition was published by the General Secretariat of the Government, recognizing the importance of the Montenegrin media in this process, and in order to encourage the media to report on the impact of the process on the life of Montenegrin citizens, the inplementation of European standards, the adoption of European values ​​and EU support through available funds and project implementation.

According to the expert jury, the best ideas for television stories were delivered by journalists Borislav Višnjić, Tatjana Debeljavić and Jelena Gardović. They will have at their disposal one month, in accordance with the proposed and selected concept, to make and publish their stories on the Erasmus program and the opportunities it provides for young people, the launching of a women’s business with the help of EU funds, and the importance of building a wastewater treatment plant funded by IPA funds.

After the broadcast of television stories, journalists will be presented with cash prizes of 1,000 euro.

The competition was published in accordance with the Strategy for informing the public on the accession of Montenegro to the European Union 2019-2022, within the EU4ME project funded by the European Union, and implemented by UNDP.
