The Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy of the European Commission (Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy – DG REGIO), in cooperation with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), has launched the initiative IMPACT – Interreg Mechanism for Promoting Active Communities and Territories, which will support up to 30 pilot actions in cross-border regions.
IMPACT will be implemented during 2026 and 2027 and is aimed at strengthening the capacities of cross-border areas for the development and implementation of joint, territorially based local development strategies.
The call is open to EU Member States, IPA countries, Moldova and Ukraine, as well as Andorra, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland.
We invite institutions and organizations from Montenegro operating in cross-border areas to consider participation and take advantage of this opportunity to strengthen cooperation and develop joint initiatives.
The deadline for submitting applications is 10 April 2026, and an informational webinar will be held on 24 February 2026.
