The Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, in partnership with the Capital City of Podgorica, and with the support of the EU projects EU4ME and European House, are organizing EU Day at the Podgorica Bazaar on Saturday, 20 December, at Independence Square, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The first edition of this event will feature a diverse and engaging program for all generations, with a special highlight being a mini concert by Snežana Ljubojević, who will perform live for the Podgorica audience for the first time.
The event will be opened by the Minister of European Affairs, Maida Gorčević, and the President of the Podgorica City Assembly, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, followed by a musical program. On stage will be the choir “Vokalisti,” conducted by Saša Barjaktarović, as well as the Children’s Choir of the public institution “Zahumlje,” conducted by Ivana Popović, performing renditions of well-known European pop and rock songs.
As part of the program, at 1 p.m., there will be a mini concert by Snežana Ljubojević, while the youngest visitors can enjoy EU games with Žarko Žapac and a creative workshop “Super Zvjezdana through a Drawing Class.”
Technology enthusiasts will have the opportunity to visit Pollinator Park in virtual reality, where they can explore the world of pollinators and learn about their importance for the ecosystem through a VR experience.
Throughout the event, the EU house at the square will also be open, offering a fun knowledge quiz and giving promotional gifts to the most successful participants.
