The Ministry of European Affairs, with the support of the European Union Delegation to Montenegro through the EU4ME project, in cooperation with the Municipality of Andrijevica, the Public Institution Centre for Culture and Sports, and the primary schools “Bajo Jojić” and “Milić Keljanović”, is organizing the celebration of Europe Day in Andrijevica on Tuesday, May 12, 2026.
Media statements are scheduled for 1:20 p.m. at the premises of Radio Andrijevica, and the media will be addressed by: Saša Maslovarić, Manager of the Municipality of Andrijevica, Predrag Zenović, Montenegro’s Chief Negotiator with the European Union, and Bartosz Marcinkowski, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Poland in Montenegro.
The cultural program marking Europe Day will open at 5 p.m. at the Public Institution Centre for Culture and Sports Andrijevica. The opening remarks will be delivered by: Saša Maslovarić, Manager of the Municipality of Andrijevica, Predrag Zenović, Montenegro’s Chief Negotiator with the European Union, and Bartosz Marcinkowski, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Poland in Montenegro.
Starting at 5:15 p.m., the cultural program “Europe in My Backyard”, prepared by students of the primary schools “Bajo Jojić” and “Milić Keljanović”, will be performed. Through music, acting, recitations, and dance, the program brings a story about friendship, dialogue, and understanding among people, featuring performances by the children’s choir, a traditional Montenegrin song, an excerpt from The Mountain Wreath, rhythmic and dance performances, as well as the play “Europe in My Backyard”, through which students will speak in a humorous and direct way about freedom, respect for diversity, and life in a community.
