The Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, in cooperation with the embassies of EU member states and “Sutjeska” Elementary School, with the support of the European House and EU4ME projects, will mark the European Day of Languages on Friday, 26 September, at the European House in Podgorica, starting at 11:00 AM.
The event is dedicated to promoting the linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe through interactive games and student engagement with embassy representatives.
The program will begin at 11:00 with addresses by Rikardo Seri, Deputy Head of the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, and Biljana Papović, State Secretary at the Ministry of European Affairs.
Students of “Sutjeska” Elementary School will, through an interactive memory game prepared in the languages of the participating embassies, together with their representatives – from Austria, Romania, Italy, Greece, Slovakia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Slovenia, and Poland – discover and learn new words. At the end of the program, students will demonstrate to the audience the words they have learned.
We invite the media to cover the European Day of Languages and contribute to promoting linguistic diversity and European values.
