The European Pub Quiz continued its tour across Montenegro and last night stopped in Podgorica, where teams at the Beer Academy tested their knowledge and competed through fun and challenging quiz tasks.

In a competitive atmosphere, full of laughter and correct answers—and occasionally a bit of luck—13 teams with a total of 55 participants competed. Knowledge in general culture, history, geography, pop culture, and, of course, the European Union, was tested throughout the evening. The teams themselves were like a “mini European Union.”

“It’s a lot of fun and we are here with others from the Erasmus program, and it’s very interesting,” explained Angela Paluan, a student from Italy.
Meanwhile, her colleagues were thinking not only about fun but also about winning.

“We are very happy and having a great time here. We’re trying to win,” said Daniel Velande, a student from Spain.
The best result and first place went to the team “K.K. Slakaši” from Podgorica, and by random draw, the teams “081–085” and “Pobjednici bez pokrića” were also awarded. However, the quiz participants confirmed that the prize was not the main motivation for participating.

“I would definitely recommend organizing such events further, simply because it is good for those of us already working in fields related to the European Union. It’s a perfect opportunity both for us and for all participants to gain a deeper insight into the beauty of European diversity,” said Hamdija Begović, a quiz participant.

The quiz, organized by the Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, once again showed that learning about the EU can be fun, spontaneous, and accessible to everyone—with team spirit, competitive excitement, and great energy.

The European Pub Quiz tour continues—next stops are Bar, Budva, Berane, and Bijelo Polje, where quiz enthusiasts will have a new chance to show their knowledge and have a great time.
