Public Call for Proposing Representatives of Non-Governmental Organizations to the Commission for the Allocation of Funds for Financing NGO Projects and Programmes in the Field of Euro-Atlantic and European Integration

The Ministry of European Affairs invites non-governmental organizations operating in the field of Euro-Atlantic and European integration to propose their representative as a member of the Commission for the allocation of funds for financing projects and programmes of non-governmental organizations in 2026.

The Commission, whose members include representatives of the Ministry of European Affairs and the non-governmental sector, has a key role in the implementation of the public call and in deciding on the allocation of funds for projects of importance for Montenegro’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Who can propose a candidate?

The right to propose candidates is granted to non-governmental organizations that:

– Were registered before the publication of the public call

– Are active in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration

– Have fulfilled their obligations to the tax authorities

– Have implemented projects, research or events in this field in the previous three years

Who can be a candidate?

The proposed candidate must:

– Have residence in Montenegro

– Possess relevant experience in the field of European and Euro-Atlantic integration

– Not be a member of a political party body, a public official, a civil servant or a public employee

How to submit a proposal?

Proposals, together with supporting documentation, must be submitted within 10 days from the publication of the call, no later than March 20, 2026, in person or by mail to the address:

(with the indication: “Proposing representatives of non-governmental organizations to the Commission for the allocation of funds for financing NGO projects and programmes in the field of Euro-Atlantic and European integration of Montenegro in 2026”)

A proposal for a member of the Commission will be considered only if it is submitted on time and with all the required documentation.

Within seven days after the deadline for submitting proposals, the Ministry of European Affairs will publish a list of candidates proposed for members of the Commission with the names of the non-governmental organizations that proposed them, as well as a list of non-governmental organizations that did not submit proper and complete proposals, that do not meet the prescribed criteria, or that proposed a representative who does not meet the prescribed criteria.
