Competitive spirit, laughter, and team energy marked the European Pub Quiz in Bijelo Polje, where teams competed in dynamic rounds testing their knowledge and cleverness. The quiz brought together participants of different generations, all answering questions about the European Union, member states, culture, history, and interesting facts.
Among the 11 teams, the most successful was Evropejci, while teams in the middle, Bjelasičari, and at the bottom, Ekonomisti II-3, also received recognition, showing that fun and teamwork were the main focus.
Participants noted that the quiz brought a fresh addition to the local event scene and offered a fun way to test knowledge.
“The quiz was great, we really enjoyed it. It was interesting and fun. This is our first time participating in this type of pub quiz. I would recommend everyone to join, as there are participants ranging from high school students to older adults. Everyone should join because it’s really fun,” said participant Helena Fatić.
The positive atmosphere was also highlighted by other competitors.
“We came without high expectations but were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is excellent, and events like this are a real boost for Bijelo Polje. Kudos to the organizers,” said participant Ajan Mucević, adding that he would recommend such events “if nothing else, for good fun and a break from everyday life.”
Other participants shared similar views, noting that such events contribute to the city’s social life.
The quiz is organized by the Ministry of European Affairs and the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro through the EU4ME and European House projects, in collaboration with quiz creator Zoran Miljanić, aiming to make EU topics accessible and engaging for citizens.
So far, the quiz has been held in Podgorica, Nikšić, Bar, and Bijelo Polje, with Berane next in the lineup.
