On Wednesday, 8 July 2026, from 10:00 to 12:30, the Interreg Euro-MED Programme will organise an online information session dedicated to its 7th call for proposals for sustainable tourism projects, launched under the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM).
The seventh call for project proposals has been launched by the Interreg Euro-MED Programme under the Mediterranean Multi-Programme Mechanism (MMM), a strategic framework for strengthening cooperation in the field of sustainable tourism among Interreg programmes. The initiative brings together ten Interreg programmes, eight of which are participating in this coordinated call.
The call reflects the shared commitment of the participating Interreg programmes to transforming tourism into a driver of inclusive growth, climate resilience and territorial cohesion across the Mediterranean, while reducing environmental degradation and ensuring that local communities benefit equitably.
The session will provide a comprehensive overview of the objectives, expectations and submission process for the 7th call, including practical tools to support your application. It is important to emphasise that this is a coordinated, rather than a joint, call, as each programme retains its own rules, budget and selection procedures. Despite coordination through the MMM and a common framework, each programme will independently carry out all formal steps under this call.
Potential beneficiaries may submit an application to only one Interreg programme participating in the MMM under this coordinated call.
