The seventeenth meeting of the Subcommittee on Innovation, Human Resources, Social Policy and Information Society between Montenegro and the European Commission will be held on Tuesday, 16 June 2026 in Podgorica.
On the Montenegrin side, the meeting will be opened by Anita Bilafer Mihaljević, Head of the Subcommittee on Innovation, Human Resources, Social Policy and Information Society within the Stabilisation and Association Process implementation structure, and Head of the Negotiating Working Group for Chapter 19 – Social Policy and Employment. On behalf of the European Commission, the meeting will be opened by Heinke Veit, Deputy Head of Unit for Montenegro in the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to review the progress achieved in the areas covered by Chapters 2 – Free Movement of Workers, 10 – Information Society and Media, 19 – Social Policy and Employment, 25 – Science and Research, and 26 – Education and Culture, compared to the previous Subcommittee meeting held on 17 June 2025 in Brussels.
