The Interreg Europe Policy Learning Platform, in cooperation with the Ministry of European Affairs and the Ministry of Public Administration, is organizing a workshop focused on digital strategies and interoperability frameworks, which will be held on 4 December 2025 at the Science and Technology Park in Podgorica.
What will it be about?
Digital transformation is key to building resilient and efficient public services that are citizen-oriented, and interoperability is the pillar that enables this. As Montenegro advances its digital agenda, strengthening institutional capacities for planning and implementing digital transformation initiatives becomes crucial.
Digital transformation strategies offer a structured approach to using digital technologies to improve processes, services, and outcomes.
A key element is interoperability, meaning ensuring that systems can function together across different bodies and institutions. These strategies help governments and organizations align technology with strategic goals, making innovations not only efficient but also sustainable and human-centered.
What can you expect?
Participants will analyze key steps in shaping the digitalization agenda—from needs analysis to the development of digital tools, infrastructure, services, and solutions—with interoperability as a central design principle.
The approach will be based on human-centered values and long-term sustainability to ensure that digital systems are not only efficient but also connected, adaptable, inclusive, and future-ready.
The detailed workshop agenda can be viewed here.
Who is this event for?
The event is intended for policymakers and decision-makers from Montenegro who work on the digital agenda at local and national levels, and registrations are closed due to limited capacity.
