The Ministry of European Affairs, through the EU4ME project, in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Media, is organizing a panel discussion on Chapter 10 – Information Society and Media on Friday, 30 May 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the European House in Podgorica.
The event is organized as part of the “28to28” campaign, which aims to present to the citizens of Montenegro, in a simple and understandable way, the concrete benefits of closing negotiation chapters. The panel titled “Digital. Critical. Responsible: Challenges and Solutions for a Safe Online World” will address the challenges of the digital environment, with a focus on the (mis)use of artificial intelligence, the protection of minors, disinformation, and other aspects of digital security.
The program begins at 10:00 a.m., and the opening remarks will be delivered by Predrag Zenović, Chief Negotiator with the European Union, and Ružica Mišković, Head of the Negotiating Working Group for Chapter 10.
Participants in the panel discussion will include Sunčica Bakić from the Agency for Audiovisual Media Services, Sandra Bašič-Hrvatin, Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska in Slovenia, Andreja Mihailović from the organization Women4Cyber, Nada Rakočević, Secretary of the ICT Association Board at the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, and Snežana Nikčević from the NGO 35 mm. The panel will be moderated by Đorđije Drinčić from the Ministry of Culture and Media.
