The Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro is organizing an info day on the occasion of the Third Call for submission of project proposals within the Danube Region Programme, which will soon be opened.
The info day will be held on 13 October 2025 at the Hilton Hotel (Bulevar Svetog Petra Cetinjskog 2) in Podgorica, starting at 11:00 AM.
In addition to representatives of the Ministry of European Affairs, speakers at the event will include representatives of the Joint Secretariat of the Danube Region Programme, headquartered in Budapest, Hungary.
Interested participants can register by filling out the registration form by 7 October 2025. Maximum number of registrations per organization/institution: 2.
We remind that the deadline for submitting project proposals is 15 December 2025. Project duration is limited to 30 months, with an expected start date of 1 July 2026. Applications are submitted through the Joint Electronic Monitoring System – JEMS.
The Danube Region Programme promotes economic, social, and territorial cohesion in the Danube basin through transnational cooperation projects that contribute to a more innovative, sustainable, and inclusive Danube region.
The programme area covers 14 countries in the Danube region, including 9 EU members – Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany (regions of Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria), Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia – as well as 5 non-EU countries – Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Moldova, and Ukraine.
The total budget allocated for this call is €27.3 million in EU grant funds, with EU co-financing of projects up to 80% of the project budget.
