Minister of Labour and Social Welfare Zorica Kovačević and representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro Andre Lis handed over the keys to apartments to residents of the collective centre Konik II in Podgorica.
Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare is the beneficiary of the IPA funded project “Identification of durable solutions for internally displaced persons and residents of Konik camp – Phase I,” amounting to EUR 1.7 million, which will resolve the housing issue of residents of the collective centre Konik camp II.
The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Vujica Lazović, Head of the UNHCR Office in Montenegro Mustafa Server Cayian and Mayor of Podgorica Slavoljub Stijepović.
