Montenegro’s team beat the European Union’s team tonight in footsal match with the result 3: 2.
Scorers from the Montenegrin team were: Nebojsa Jovovic – two goals in the 2nd and 23th minute and Milos Radonjic in the 38th minute, while the EU scorers were Juraj Leško in the 9th. minute and Enis Chindrak in the 13th minute.
A friendly football match was organized by the Secretariat General of the Government of Montenegro, on the occasion of celebration of the Europe Day.
The footsal game was played by members of the negotiating structure for the EU accession negotiations with the representatives of EU Delegation and EU member states – Croatia, Slovakia, Germany, France and Great Britain.
After finishing the match, Minister of sports and youth Nikola Janović awarded players and congratulated them on the correct game. He expressed satisfaction that diplomats and negotiators have shown that they are fostering the sport spirit.
