The project “Municipalities for the EU – Empowering Local Communities in the European Integration Process”, financed by the European Union, presented a promotional video about EU Info Points, a network of local info corners operating in all municipalities of Montenegro.
EU Info Points are intended for citizens who want to be informed about Montenegro’s process of accession to the European Union, the opportunities the EU offers to local communities, current EU programs, calls and funds, as well as the rights and obligations arising from EU membership. They represent a place of direct contact between citizens and reliable and verified information about the European Union – at the local level.
Through EU Info Points, citizens can obtain information about:
- the process of European integration and negotiating chapters,
- EU funds, programs and current calls,
- opportunities for young people, entrepreneurs, civil society organizations and local governments,
- projects financed by the European Union in Montenegro and their impact on the development of local communities.
The promotional video aims to bring the concept of EU Info Points closer to citizens, present their role and encourage citizens to use them as the first address for information about the European Union in their municipality.
The video, locations and contacts for EU Info Points can be found on the website www.opstinezaeu.me
The project “Municipalities for the EU”, financed by the European Union, is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Public Administration and the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro, with the aim of strengthening local capacities and informing citizens about European integration.
