The launch of the call for applications marks the beginning of the third edition of the Women TechEU programme (2026–2028), an EU-funded initiative providing support to women leading European deep-tech start-ups.
Over the next two years, 160 selected European start-ups will receive €75,000 in non-dilutive funding, as well as a personalised business development programme that includes individual mentoring, training, connections with investors and companies, and networking opportunities.
Selected companies can receive €75,000 in non-dilutive financial support, mentoring and expert support, training and networking opportunities, as well as connections with investors and other EIC opportunities, according to the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation of Montenegro.
The call is intended for early-stage deep-tech companies led by women, and applications are submitted through a two-step process – first, an eligibility check, followed by a full project application. Women TechEU is an European Union initiative that provides direct financial support and mentoring programmes to women-led start-ups in the deep-tech sector, with the aim of reducing the gender gap in the technology sector.
