The Ministry of European Affairs and the Center for Finance, in cooperation with the Slobodan Škerović Gymnasium, and within the framework of the EU4ME project funded by the European Union, are organizing the workshop “Europe Without Borders in Payments: Discover the Benefits of the SEPA System.”
The workshop will be held on Tuesday, 11 November 2025, at the Slobodan Škerović Gymnasium, starting at 9:30 AM.
The workshop is organized with the aim of improving understanding and informing young people about the benefits that the EU accession process and future membership bring to Montenegro and its citizens, as well as encouraging more active participation in the European integration process. Additionally, the workshop will contribute to raising the financial literacy of young people.
The workshop will be opened by Dr. Bojana Bošković, State Secretary at the Ministry of European Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ivana Katnić from the Center for Finance. During the workshop, high school students will discuss the SEPA system and the opportunities it provides to Montenegrin citizens with Jela Rakočević from the Central Bank of Montenegro, Milena Grupković from the Mortgage Bank, and Ms. Nina Perunović from the Center for Finance.
As part of the workshop, a knowledge quiz will also be organized, and the best students will be awarded.
