The Ministry of European Affairs, with the support of the EU Delegation in Montenegro through the EU4ME project, in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management and the Institute of Marine Biology, is organizing an educational workshop for second-year students of the Kotor Gymnasium: “Little School of Fisheries and Healthy Seafood: Discover the Sea and the EU”. The workshop will take place on Wednesday, 10 December at 11:00 at the Institute of Marine Biology in Kotor.
The workshop will be opened by Biljana Papović, State Secretary at the Ministry of European Affairs, together with Katarina Burzanović, Head of the Negotiating Group for Chapter 13 – Fisheries.
After the opening, students will have the opportunity to attend a lecture by Dr. Aleksandar Joksimović from the Institute of Marine Biology, who will speak about sustainable fisheries and healthy seafood consumption. This will be followed by a presentation from Granica Kovačević Petrić of the Ministry of European Affairs, explaining EU policies in the fisheries sector and how they contribute to the protection and enhancement of marine resources.
The program will continue with an interactive online quiz, followed by the announcement of the best participants.
